This book is seriously for people who do not want to challenge their intellect. If you have made it to freshman year of high school in a college preparatory class you will learn nothing knew. This is trash for a college level. Severely disappointed.
I use this book in my classroom. It's topical and to the point. I like the way it integrates modern life and technology into the collaborative process of learning academic writing. It's very easy to use in a classroom setting.
This is my first time using the textbook, but I am already impressed with the diversity of the exercises and how they lead into the writing lessons. This is an excellent book from a teaching perspective and the students seem to respond well to it.
